Ballpark charms...

This wonderful baseball facility is located in the heart of Boardwalk's downtown district. Fans at the stadium have access to a large amount of food and drink options, ranging from standard ballpark fare, to Boardwalk-area favorites. A neat feature is an arrangement that allows trolley cars to bring fans into the ballpark, or at least into the area enclosed by a 10-foot-high wall that defines Boardwalk Grounds. It's an absolute joy to watch a ballgame at this park.

City notes...

(Market Size: Big) - is a maritime city that experiences all four seasons. Since it's on the water, the weather can change often. Summer is a great time to enjoy Boardwalk - not only for baseball games at Boardwalk Grounds, but for the picturesque scenery. The city holds many waterfront and neighborhood festivals during the summer as well, including a three-day event honoring the arts.

Boardwalk is known far and wide for Atlantics baseball and its steamed crabs. But there's more to the city than that. The city is not only rich in history, but is also a thriving metropolis with enough attractions to keep citizens busy for days at a time--or for a brief respite in between meetings. Genteel streets are lined with elegant brick town houses, acres of public greens and gardens. The city boasts more colleges than are found in many cities. Boardwalk serves up slices of history and culture at every turn. Few cities display their history so lovingly.

Fan brief...

Atlantic fans pride themselves on being fair and having a keen knowledge of the game. They cheer their team wildly, but have an odd tradition of respectfully applauding a solid play made by the opposition. They support their team from season to season, but the club draws even more fans during winning seasons.
